About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Where coastal beauty meets conscious design.
The 2 Sisters Boutique is a family run, Northumberland-based brand creating upcycled champagne-bottle candles, sea-glass jewellery and so much more, inspired by the coastline we call home and our love of crafting. Every piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in small batches, combining sustainable practices with timeless coastal style.
What We Create
Our collections feature hand-cut champagne-bottle candles and sea-glass jewellery, each celebrating natural textures, soft coastal colours, and the beauty of reimagined materials. No two pieces are ever quite the same—just like the shoreline that inspires them.
Experiences We Offer
Alongside our products, we love bringing people together through creative experiences:
• Children’s jewellery parties – fun, hands-on sessions perfect for birthdays and celebrations
• Jewellery-making workshops – relaxed, creative events for adults and groups
• Private events – tailored workshops for hen parties, baby showers, and special occasions
• Corporate workshops – ideal for team-building, wellbeing days, and client events
All experiences can be hosted in carefully selected venues or brought to you, creating a memorable and meaningful activity for every guest.
Made in Northumberland
Sustainability, creativity, and community are at the heart of everything we do. From sea-worn glass to repurposed bottles, we give materials a second life—transforming them into keepsakes designed to be treasured.

Where Our Story Began
We had always dreamed of going sea glass hunting — imagining the treasures we might find and the beautiful things we could create from them. One day, we finally went, and that’s where our journey truly began.
Every visit to the beach still fills us with excitement. We never know what colours, shapes, or rare pieces we’ll discover, and each trip feels like an adventure — like being children again. The magic starts the moment we walk down the steps to the shore, searching for tiny glimmers of glass shining in the sunlight.
Some pieces lie waiting on the surface, but many are hidden beneath the sand and pebbles — and that’s part of the joy. We love giving these forgotten fragments a new purpose, transforming them into something meaningful and beautiful once more.
Every piece of our sea glass jewellery is made using glass we have personally collected. No two pieces are ever the same, each one unique in colour, shape, and story, and carefully handcrafted by us.
Seaham’s coastline holds a special history. During Victorian times, it was home to one of Britain’s largest glassworks, producing thousands of clear and coloured bottles every day. Waste glass from the factories was once cast into the sea, where waves and tides have spent decades — even centuries — tumbling and shaping it into the sea glass we treasure today.
